Museum collection
Today, the museum's collection includes more than 400,000 artifacts spanning the ages from the Paleolithic to modern times. Among the most valuable are the results of excavations from Olbia, Cossack relics, materials from the history of Mykolaiv, the city's shipbuilding industry, natural artifacts, ethnographic and decorative and useful objects, works of art. The museum also has a restoration department that gives unique things a second life.
