Rules for visiting the museum

To ensure your visit to the Mykolaiv Regional Museum of Local History is as comfortable as possible, we kindly ask you to:

  • Check in outerwear, large bags, backpacks, umbrellas, and other bulky items at the cloakroom.
  • Set your phones to silent or vibrate mode during tours. If you need to take a call, please step out of the exhibition hall and return after your call is finished.
  • Refrain from bringing or consuming food and drinks in the exhibition halls.
  • If you enter the exhibition halls with a backpack, please remove it from your shoulders and carry it by hand to avoid accidentally touching the exhibits.
  • Avoid leaning on the display cases.
  • Speak considerately, remembering there are other visitors around you.
  • Do not post notices or promotional materials without prior approval from the museum administration.
  • Accompany children under 12 years old.
  • Leave pets at home.

Additionally, you are welcome to take photos and videos with your phone (without flash) in our museum. We would be delighted if you tag us in your photos on social media and add our location. We always enjoy following all mentions of our museum, and we are happy to feature the photos we like the most on our pages.
